1. Who we are

This notice covers prosperly.co.uk. The site is published by Prosperly Limited, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 15988727. Prosperly also trades as Surgerly, and builds and runs the Surgerly platform. We are registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office under reference ZB949427.

For anything about your personal data, email privacy@surgerly.co.uk. Our data protection lead is Daniel Howard.

2. Visiting this website

This website sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device. It uses no advertising or tracking tools, and its fonts, images and code come from our own hosting.

To understand which pages are useful, we count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics. It does not use cookies, does not identify you and does not follow you across other websites. To provide it, Cloudflare receives your IP address, your browser details and the page you visited. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in understanding how our website is used.

Like every website, it is delivered by a hosting provider, in our case Microsoft Azure Static Web Apps. Azure processes the technical details of each request, such as your IP address, your browser and the page you asked for, in order to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.

3. Emailing us

If you email enquiries@prosperly.co.uk, we use your message and contact details to reply, to follow up on what you asked, and to keep a record of the conversation. Our email is provided by Microsoft 365. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us, and, where you are asking about our services, taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.

Please do not send health information about yourself or anyone else.

4. Booking a chat

The booking form is part of Surgerly, our own platform, and is served from app.surgerly.co.uk. Nothing from it loads until you choose to open it.

If you book, we collect the details the form asks for, currently your name, date of birth, email address and mobile number, together with the topic and time you choose. We use them to arrange the conversation, hold it and follow it up.

Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us, and, where you are asking about our services, taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.

When the form opens, it also:

  • looks up your country from your IP address using ipapi.co, to set the dialling code on the phone number field;
  • loads code from Stripe, our payments provider, which sets its own cookies to help prevent fraud;
  • loads code and styles from public libraries, jsDelivr, jQuery and Google Fonts.

Each of those providers receives your IP address and browser details in serving its part of the form. On this site the form is set up not to store campaign tags or advertising click identifiers on your device.

5. Who sees your data

Emails are held in Microsoft 365. Bookings are held in Surgerly, which is hosted on Microsoft Azure in the UK. Visit counts are held by Cloudflare, which provides our web analytics. We do not sell personal data, and we do not share your enquiry with anyone else except professional advisers bound by confidentiality, or where the law requires it.

How Prosperly handles personal data more broadly, including the providers that help us run Surgerly, is set out in the Surgerly privacy policy.

6. How long we keep it

We keep enquiry and marketing data for up to 24 months from your last engagement with us. If you become a customer, contract and billing records follow the longer periods set out in the Surgerly privacy policy.

7. Your rights

You can ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, and ask us to correct it, delete it, restrict how we use it, or stop using it. You can also object to processing based on our legitimate interests. Email privacy@surgerly.co.uk and we will respond within one month.

You can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at any time, at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint. We would appreciate the chance to put things right first.

8. Changes to this notice

If the site changes in a way that affects your data, for example by adding analytics or a new form, this notice will change with it, and the version and date above will show it.
